Support Workers -

24 hour Residential Services

Full Time 40 hours

 

We currently have vacancies for Support Workers for our 24 hour services in the Giffnock area including an exciting new project. As an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual you will work within an established team delivering a person centred service.

This post will involve working with adults in their own homes and in the community, supporting them on a 24 hour basis therefore including shift work and sleepovers.

You should have a SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent and /or have experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.

You will be supporing the delivery of high quality services whilst maintaining service users’ individual rights. You should be enthusiastic about continuing professional development, must be able to work flexible hours and have a sound knowledge of Social Care concepts, principles and theory.

Senior Project/Support Worker   Outreach and 24hr Services

Full Time 40 hours

Salary £18,381 to £20,609 per annum - qualification bars apply

 

As a senior support/project worker you will be expected to support the delivery of a high quality service in in the Giffnock area. As an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual you will work supervising staff in an established team delivering a person centred service.

We have 2 Senior Posts, 24hour service and Adult outreach services.

This post will involve working with adults in their own homes and in the community, supporting them on an individual basis and within group settings to achieve their goals in life. Within this post will also be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring that the requirements of the service are met and participate in annual reviews of support staffs' performance.

You should have a SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent and have experience working with individuals with learning disabilities. A management qualification would be desirable as would experience in supervisory role.

You will be supporting the delivery of high quality services whilst maintaining service users' individual rights. You should be enthusiastic about continuing professional development, must be able to work flexible hours and have a sound knowledge of Social Care concepts, principles and theory.
