Cosgrove Child Services provide playschemes during school holidays.

3 weeks in summer
1 week in October
2 weeks in spring (Pesach/Easter) 

  • Our playscheme is usually based at Isobel Mair School, Drumby Crescent, Williamwood, Glasgow and runs from 9a.m. until 4p.m.
  • We pride ourselves on providing a high quality service and have a high ratio of staff to children/young people, 10 staff to 15 children.
  • We are an integrated playscheme and can cater to the needs of all children/young people from the ages of 3 years to 18 years.
  • Our programmes are always theme based, therefore all activities and outings will relate to the current theme.   Weekly sessions at the local leisure centre are incorporated.
  • The programmes are always varied and include activities such as:
    • Water play
    • Drama
    • Music
    • Arts and crafts (with our Creative Arts Co-ordinator)
    • Cooking/baking
    • Sports
    • Construction
    • Selection of outings using both public transport and hired coach
  • The cost of all playschemes is £16 per day.   As we are a Jewish organisation children/young people are required to provide a vegetarian packed lunch

Playscheme Aims and Objectives

  • To provide a safe, stimulating and fun leisure opportunity which enhances children/young people’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs during school holidays.
  • To provide families with a form of respite.
  • To promote integration.
