50TH ANNIVERSARY

2010 will mark the fiftieth anniversary of Cosgrove Care since the inaugural meeting was held in 1960 attended by a number of interested families and their supporters.
From these early pioneering days when the organisation was known as the Jewish Association for the Mentally Handicapped, reflecting the jargon of the day, Cosgrove Care has developed enormously.
Initially supporting less than twenty service users in a single establishment, it now supports almost one hundred and fifty people from all backgrounds in a number of residences and in their own homes as well as providing a wide range of respite services and challenging new initiatives to meet the changing needs of the service users.
Cosgrove Care is now highly regarded throughout Scotland as a quality and innovative service provider.
A committee is being formed to tackle the celebrations marking this milestone
